Artist Studio
The studio is right next door to Auberge 1. 150 years ago it had been the old stone barn where travelers' horses were stabled. The studio as befits a converted barn is a rustic but lovely place to stay. The walls are all old unfinished stone and the floors wide pine floorboards. The studio has two bedrooms with separate full bath on the ground floor level. Up a steep flight of stairs is the main studio space with a large skylight and complete working kitchen. Copper pots, complete set of dishes cutlery and cooking utensils as well as small fridge freezer. Up one more staircase is an internal balcony that opens out onto the outdoor large terrace.
French doors open onto a small balconette and the stairs down to the the shared solar heated pool. Further down the village is another garden by a stream where we play badminton or croquet or just laze in the hammock or sit under the cherry tree with a good book.
